I have learned that it is so important to be prepared for any situation. Naturally we all believe that nothing bad will happen to us. We can't imagine there being a situation where we would be without food or power for a long period of time. However, we know that this is not true. Many people have been put in circumstances where they are unable to get the things that they need, which is why it is so important that you have an emergency reserve of food and a way to get power.
